Factor Library Guide
The factor library is the shared source of reusable factor definitions.
Create factors with name, type, and JSON definition, then refine in detail pages as needed.
Manage factors here first so downstream analysis pages stay consistent.
Use the filters to narrow the card grid. The i control on each card summarizes notes (description, formula, and attribution). Use the form below to create custom factors.
Analyze Factor on each card opens this page's Exploration tab with that factor pre-targeted: configure universe and horizon, run lightweight diagnostics, read summary metrics and charts, and use the rule-based interpretation blocks under each chart (deterministic, not LLM). Switch between Single and Compare modes; multi-select unlocks the correlation heatmap and comparison panel (overlay / grouped charts use additional per-factor analyze calls on the client only—backend research logic is unchanged).
